The BAU.CAMERA is a digital camera that has been specially developed for documenting construction sites. It automatically takes pictures at fixed intervals - every five minutes during the day and every 15 minutes at night.
The recordings are encrypted and transferred to the BAU.CAMERA cloud via mobile radio. You and your team can access the images there at any time. In this way, construction progress is fully documented, which serves both as evidence and for project communication. In addition, professional time-lapse films can be created from the recordings.

This makes the function ideal for project marketing, documentation for clients or for use in social media and jour fixe meetings.

The BAU.CAMERA is completely pre-configured and ready for immediate use according to the "plug & play" principle. It is delivered by UPS within 24 hours and can be attached to a mast, crane or wall - the appropriate mast bracket is already included in the scope of delivery. Once connected to the power supply, the camera starts automatically. On request, a BAU.CAMERA can install the camera directly on site (for an additional charge).

The ideal location for the BAU.CAMERA is as high up as possible and offers a clear view of the entire construction site. A mast or a building on the edge or in one of the corners of the construction site is best suited. The only important thing is an available 230 volt power connection. Optionally, you can also use accessories such as a 5-10 meter high pole, a flat roof stand or suitable wall brackets.

BAU.CAMERA meets all data protection and GDPR requirements. All images are transmitted in encrypted form and hosted in a high-availability data center in Germany. Access is exclusively password-protected and only possible for authorized users. In addition, optional functions such as automatic person anonymization or static masking - for neighbouring properties or public roads, for example - are available.

Yes, the BAU.CAMERA is specially designed for outdoor use. The robust housing is certified to IP66 and is therefore rain and snowproof. The cameras work reliably in a temperature range of -20 to +50 °C. Thanks to the integrated LTE/4G connection, they are also ready for use independently at any time.

The BAU.CAMERA has an integrated LTE/4G modem with an EU SIM card, so no external internet connection is required. All recordings are immediately transferred to the cloud in encrypted form and stored there for the entire duration of the project and for a further four weeks afterwards. Optionally, the data can also be archived long-term or made available collectively on a hard disk.

Yes, every picture is transferred to the cloud within a few seconds of being taken and can be accessed there immediately. New images are taken every five minutes during the day between 7:00 and 20:00, and every 15 minutes at night. Shorter intervals such as every three minutes or a 24/7 rhythm of five minutes are also possible. In addition, the current webcam image can be integrated directly into your own website.

The BAU.CAMERA is designed for continuous operation and does not require regular on-site maintenance. Settings such as exposure, image quality or software are monitored and adjusted by the BAU.CAMERA via remote maintenance. Should a technical problem nevertheless occur, the repair service is free of charge for the entire rental period. In the event of a defect, you will receive a replacement device at no extra cost.

Yes, BAU.CAMERA meets the LV specifications of Deutsche Bahn and is therefore also approved for rail projects. It is already being used successfully on major Deutsche Bahn projects. The weatherproof design, encrypted data transmission and the possibility of long-term archiving meet the requirements of the LV Webcam specifications.

The number of users is unlimited. You can set up access for clients, project managers, architects or subcontractors. By assigning individual rights, you can determine whether users can only view images, download files or have administrator rights.
